2025-2026 Elizabeth D. Rockwell Center Prize for Best Artcle on Ethics, Leadership and Public Policy
The Elizabeth D. Rockwell Center is accepting article submissions from scholars across various academic disciplines and institutions for recognition. The articles in peer-reviewed journals are judged on their originality, scholarship and potential to impact the real-world understanding of ethics in public policy.

An advanced degree from the Hobby School prepares graduates to face tomorrow鈥檚 most pressing challenges through interdisciplinary coursework and training in ethics and leadership. Hobby School students will develop fundamental tools and skills transferable across a range of fields.

Virtual Graduate Programs Information Session
Attend a virtual information session on pursuing an advanced degree at the Hobby School that provides insight into the admissions process, degree funding, career outcomes and more. Domestic applicants who attend receive an application fee waiver.

Social Economy and Enterprise Academy Student Presentations and Reception
The Social Economy and Enterprise Academy connects students with Houston-area nonprofit organizations during the summer to work on research and data analysis projects that enhance the impact of these organizations on their communities.

The Hobby School celebrates our nonprofit community partners, who work closely with interns, student researchers and faculty members.

The daylong workshop will focus on voter education and registration. Participants can engage in hands-on activities and training sessions led by speakers with expertise from diverse sectors.

"How to Break Up with Your Phone" with Author Catherine Price
Best-selling author and health and science journalist Catherine Price will share her expertise on the impact of a screen-based world and provide evidence-based strategies for reconnecting with parts of our lives that don't happen on a screen. Her campus visit kicks off the "Rebooting Our Relationship with Tech" lecture series hosted by the Elizabeth D. Rockwell Center.
