Now an associate professor of art at Wellesley College, Claudia Joscowicz (B.Arch. '91) works as a visual artists in film and video, focusing on landscapes and the urban fabric. Her installations and videos have been seen internationally, and a career highlight includes being the first Bolivian video artist to have their work acquired by the Guggenheim Museum.
At the Hines College, resilience is a defining trait of who we are. This past year, our community demonstrated that spirit firsthand, adapting and working collaboratively through limited space and ongoing repairs to our building following Hurricane Beryl. April's Alumni Spotlight features Russell G. Clark (M.Arch. '91) who is a senior project manager at ERES Comapnies and the co-owner of AIX Interests, Inc. "A good deal of my career has been outside the 'typical' architect role. After a brief stint working for architecture firms, I spent most of my time working as an owner鈥檚 representative and all the many things that can entail," he said, referencing projects like the redesign and construction of Willie G's for Landry's Restaurants, Inc. and the TXDOT Austin Consolidated Campus.
