Gated Lot 6A will be temporarily closed for approximately two months to accommodate lighting upgrades as part of the University鈥檚 campus-wide improvement project. The closure will start at 7 p.m. Friday, Aug. 15. All vehicles will have to be removed from the lot by that time. Gated Lot 6A permit holders have been emailed instructions on where their permit allows them to park while 6A is closed. Any 6A permit holder who did not see the emails should contact Parking and Transportation Services at parking@uh.edu.

Vehicle access is blocked off for University Drive from MLK Boulevard to the E. Cullen Building and is expected to last through 2026.
