    HR POWER UP Employee Wellness encourages you to take advantage of your (EAP).   • CPR Training Available

    UH Campus Safety 鈥� Occupational Health Services is currently offering no-cost American Heart Association Heart Saver CPR/AED Training to all interested employees. The four-hour instructor-led course is highly interactive and is typically offered twice a month in a classroom setting. Upon successful completion of the course, participants will receive Heart Saver CPR/AED certification valid for two years. View the training schedule and enroll today!

  • Catapult Health Checkups Come to Campus

    This spring and Catapult Health bring no-cost preventive health check-ups to the University of Houston.  These preventive checkups provide important measurements that can help improve and protect your health and wellbeing. Learn your numbers, then take steps now to prevent cardiovascular and other diseases and live well longer! The date and times for the onsite clinic will be announced soon.

FRT and Wellness Policy

Safeguard your health and well-being! Are you familiar with the Fitness Release Time and Wellness Leave Policy? Apply for FRT and with your supervisor's approval, exercise for 30 minutes 3x a week. Visit your PCP for a ROUTINE PHYSICAL EXAM and complete a simple online , and you could you could receive one full day off from work! To apply for FRT and/or Wellness Leave, visit the POWER UP Wellness Policies tab below and follow the instructions.

Some businesses will want to see your University Faculty/Staff ID; others may want you to print out a coupon or enter a special discount code on their website.

  • If you are a company looking to offer a discount to UH employees, consider doing so with PerkSpot!  Making a request is easy.  Simply complete and submit the , and a PerkSpot representative will reach out to you to learn more and to see if a discount for your product and/or services can be negotiated.

  • Saving Center Discounts for UH employees are offered through the University鈥檚 Deer Oaks EAP Services. To access the Saving Center log into the EAP.
