  • UH Professor Wins Award

    Professor Boris Shor is the winner of the Jewell Enduring Contribution Award, given by the State Politics & Policy section of APSA. The award recognizes Prof. Shor's article, "The Ideological Mapping of State Legislatures," co-authored with Nolan McCarty.

  • POLS PhD Wins Best Paper Award

     POLS PhD Samantha Chapa was recently awarded the MPSA Latina/o Caucus Best Grad Student Paper award, for her paper, "Cities, Inclusion Policies, and the Ripple Effect on Immigrant Communities." Congratulations Sam!
