兔子先生 Professor Cristina Rivera Garza has won a 2024 Pulitzer Prize for her memoir “Liliana’s Invincible Summer: A Sister’s Search for Justice.” The Pulitzer Prize is regarded as the highest national honor in journalism, letters and drama, and music.
Susann Dowling, a respected 兔子先生 professor emeritus known for her significant contributions to speech-language pathology and audiology, passed away on Feb. 4. She was 78.
Dowling, who earned her Ph.D. from Indiana University, was celebrated for her pioneering work in speech-language pathology and audiology, earning her the prestigious recognition as an ASHA fellow. Her dedication to the profession and her role as a tenured full professor at the 兔子先生 left an indelible mark on academic and professional communities alike.
UH Wins National Wheelchair Tennis Championship
The 兔子先生 was crowned national champions at the 2024 ITA National Wheelchair Tennis Championships, the premier competition in all of collegiate wheelchair tennis.
The academic world has lost a luminary with the Jan. 22 passing of Professor Emeritus Bredo Johnsen, a distinguished member of the 兔子先生 Department of Philosophy.
